Your One virtual card

Apply for a virtual card in the app. Approval follows a short identity check by us, and once it's ready, you can use it online, in apps, and in stores.

Using your card

  • Online and in apps: choose your One card at checkout and enter the card number, expiry and CVV. Tap Card details on your card screen to see them; the app asks you to confirm it's you first.
  • In stores: add your card to Google Wallet or Apple Pay, then tap your phone at any contactless terminal.

Adding it to your phone's wallet

  1. Tap Card in the bottom bar (on older app versions, your card on the home screen) and choose the add-to-wallet option.
  2. Follow the prompts in Google Wallet or Apple Pay.
  3. Accept the terms, and your card appears in your wallet, ready to tap and pay.

If your card shows as suspended in your wallet

  • If you froze your card, unfreeze it in the app first.
  • If your card is active in One but Google Wallet or Apple Pay still shows it as suspended, remove it from the wallet and add it again from your One card screen. If you recently replaced your card, this also puts the new card in your wallet.
  • If the message mentions your Google payments profile, the suspension is on your Google account, not on your One card. Sign in at pay.google.com and follow the alerts there.

If the app says Google Wallet can't be used on this phone

On some Android phones, adding the card ends with Google Wallet can't be used with One on this phone. That's about the phone, not your card or your account: Google Wallet on that phone can't take the card. Your card still works online and in apps with its card details. Freezing, unfreezing or replacing the card won't change it.

Managing your card

Tap Card in the bottom bar (on older app versions, your card on the home screen) to see your card and its purchases, plus:

  • Card details: your card number, expiry and CVV, for paying online.
  • Freeze / Unfreeze: blocks new card purchases. Use it if your phone is lost, or whenever you just want purchases stopped.
  • Manage: change your PIN, or choose Replace card if you ever need a new card number. Replacements are limited, so only replace your card when you really need a new number.

Your card details are private — never share your card number, expiry or CVV with anyone, including someone claiming to be from One.
